Our Saab 9-3 in cool metallic blue shares its underpinnings with the Vauxhall Vectra. But don’t let that put you off — its distinctive front grille, sweeping lines and beautifully fitted electric soft top make it look at home in all the best places and oozes class, 'yah'. Sit inside the 9-3 and its distinctive looks continue with the dashboard curving towards the driver, making it feel more aircraft than automobile - complete with a full leather interior it's first class all the way!
Practicality is not usually a word associated with a cabriolet but the Saab 9-3 comes pretty close. The rear seats are large enough not to be just for the under-tens and high-speed cruising with the roof down is no chore.
At home around town or gobbling up the miles on the motorway, the car's a bit of a bargain in Band 4......seriously good value, especially when the sun's out!
