In 1983 BMW decided their ultra sharp coupe needed an extra bit of spice so they strapped a big air dam to that shark nose, sorted out some rather nice Motorsport badges and oh, dropped a modified version of the 24 valve dohc lump from the legendary M1 under the bonnet. The result is a set of knuckle-dusters under tightly stretched kid leather gloves.
