Being a series 2 (1969 -1971) this E-type has the 4.2 litre straight six engine pushing out 268bhp. It has an all synchro gearbox, uprated brakes and more comfortable seats than the series 1.
The club’s new car has just had a full body restoration and looks amazing in her silver and black colour combination. The black period Revolution 5 spoke wheels (fitted in the early ‘70s) have polarised opinion but we love them. She looks every inch a modified Can Am racer of the late sixties early seventies.
More than capable of keeping up with modern day counterparts but 10 times as cool!
