As a style icon this was THE 1960's sportscar the SL designation standing for Super Light. Although the car is really a two seater there is a small transversely mounted seat on the luggage shelf behind the front seats. This is a rare factory option and is only really intended for short hops.
Timelessly stylish the SL or Pagoda (so called due to the shape of the hard top) is a true classic, effortlessly cool, that Mercedes has arguably never bettered.
