Triumph Dolomite Sprint

![]() |
In the early 1970's the seemingly unassuming Triumph Dolomite Sprint was quite an exceptional car. This compact four-door family saloon car represented the cutting edge of technology. The two litre slant 4 engine had a secret weapon, 4 valves per cylinder, previously unheard of in a mass production car and revolutionary in a family saloon costing less than two thousand pounds. With 0-60 in well under 10 seconds and a top speed of over 115mph, the Sprint was an undisputed class leader.
The clubs car has only one previous owner (now a member and keeping tabs on his pride and joy!) and is extremely original. Fitted with the rare option of an gearbox and a sliding steel sunroof, it pulls strongly and smoothly, easily keeping up with modern traffic in town or on the motorway. With comfortable seating for four and a good size boot, this Triumph is fantastic value in band 1.
