Classic Car Club

FAQ

We’ve prepared a list of frequently asked questions and the answers to them. If you don't find the answer to your question here please contact us.

I would like to become a Member of Classic Car Club: what should I do?

Simply call us to ask for an application form and return it to the Club at 250 Old Street, London, EC1V 9DD, or use the application form on this site.

What else do I need to send with the application form?

Send a copy of your driving licence along with payment (by cheque or credit/debit card or cash) and a reference.

What form should the reference take and from whom should it come?

The reference should be very simple: just a few lines to say that you would make a good and responsible Classic Car Club member. Ideally it should come from someone who can vouch for you (though not family!), ie work colleague, legal adviser, accountant etc. In short, someone who can vouch for you in a short letter on headed paper.

How do I pay?

The application form has a section for credit/debit cards. Otherwise, you can send a cheque or cash. For cash payments we advise either calling in person or sending by recorded or registered post.

Having paid the joining fee and annual subscription, are there any further deposits or hidden payments?

Absolutely not. With Classic Car Club, what you pay for is what you get. There are no extra mileage costs and no insurance deposits.

What happens if I introduce a friend as a Member of the Club?

You automatically receive a bonus of 50 points and the Club is part of the way towards a new car (a ratio of 6-8 Members per car is maintained so that as the Membership grows, so does the size of the fleet).
